How It Works
HomeGrown On Tour follows a structured competition format across three European editions.
Each edition operates independently while forming part of the pathway to the Grand Final in Tilburg.
Competition Categories
Participants may enter one submission per category.
Each category is judged independently within its respective edition.

Submission Process
- All entries must be personally delivered during the official drop-off day prior to the judging event.
- Participants are required to package their own submissions on-site.
- Each submission must meet the predefined quantity requirements per category.
- Entries must be clean, properly dried and free from contaminants.

Judging System
HomeGrown On Tour operates on a structured participant-based judging model.
All participants receive judge packs within their selected categories and evaluate every entry in that category.
To ensure fairness, self-scoring is automatically excluded from the final calculation.
Participants submit their final scores individually after completing their evaluation.
Qualification & Pathway
Each edition functions as an independent competition while forming part of the larger European structure.
The top 5 entries in each category qualify for the Grand Final in Tilburg.
This step-by-step structure allows the competition to grow organically across Europe without losing its local character and authenticity.
The Grand Final brings together the strongest entries from each city, elevating the competitive level while preserving the grassroots foundation of the platform.

Integrity & Fairness
HomeGrown On Tour is built on transparency, structure and community trust.
Participants must personally deliver their entries and attend the judging day.
All evaluations are conducted individually, and self-scores are removed from final calculations to prevent bias.
The goal is not to create a commercial award show, but a respected, community-driven competition platform that values craftsmanship and authenticity.
